Ugh, I’m sickalicious. There’s something almost indulgent about spending an entire day in bed (as I did yesterday) except of course the actually feeling like crap part. I did leave my PJs because I had dinner plans. Plans that I utilized to quench my steak craving, then back to bed with me. I think today will be another bed ridden day. Luckily I work from home, so I won’t be a complete waste of space.
I didn’t workout yesterday, but depending on how I feel later tonight may hit a spin class-or not.

I’m glad you’re resting, Kim! You need it! Get well soon
Hi Kim!
I’ve been following since being addicted to Elastic Waist, and I’m still really loving your stuff. Love the way you are so upbeat and positive, but also honest about scary or weird stuff! However, Im really not down with the calorie count you are now including…I feel like for me, it kinda negates all the body positivity which simply oozes out of this site! You are such great inspiration not to worry about ‘dieting’, only treating your body well and giving it the things it needs, that I feel like a calorie count is neither here nor there…Did you give your body the things it needed today? You know, sleep, air, exercise if it felt like it, steak because its the time of the month? If you did, then why do calories matter? Don’t get me wrong, I know you know this already! It’s just that this is something I probably struggle with more than you seem to, and I hate to see my best source of body positivity ruined.
Of course, this is your blog and your space to explore your relationship with your body. If you feel this is what’s best for you, then go for it! Just wanted to offer the opinion of a long time and regular reader.

Hi Katrina,
Thank you so much for your feedback. What you wrote means so much to me.
I totally hear you on the calorie count thing, it was just something I’m trying out, but I’m not necessarily sure I love it either. Losing the counting doesn’t phase me and I’d be happy to go back to the old blogging style.
Thanks again for your feedback!
